Price accuracy policy

We are committed to pricing accuracy and transparency to provide a reliable and satisfying shopping experience for our customers. This pricing accuracy policy applies to all of our products and services sold in Canada, including Quebec.

2.    Prices displayed on our online stores

We strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date pricing across all of our sales channels, including our website, mobile apps and physical retail locations. Prices displayed exclude all applicable taxes and delivery charges.

3.    Price Changes

Despite our best efforts to maintain accurate pricing, errors may occur. In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a pricing error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders for that product. If an order has already been placed, we will contact you to inform you of the situation and discuss the options available.

4.    Notification of Changes

In the event of a price change on a product already ordered but not yet shipped, we will contact you to inform you of the change and obtain your consent before proceeding with the transaction. We are committed to treating our customers fairly and transparently in all pricing situations.

5.    Exceptions​

This policy does not apply to temporary promotional offers, sales or special events where special conditions may apply. In such cases, the terms of the offer will be clearly specified and governed by separate terms of this policy. With the exception of one glaring error.

Cancellation policy

1.    Introduction

We are committed to providing a pleasant and hassle-free shopping experience to our customers. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and therefore, we have established an order cancellation policy to ensure customer satisfaction. This policy applies to all orders placed online in Canada, including Quebec.

2.    Right of Cancellation

Customers have the right to cancel their order under the following conditions:

  • The cancellation request is made before the order is processed.
  • The order has not yet been shipped or processed by our warehouse.

3.    Right of Withdrawal (for new vehicles in Quebec)

In accordance with Quebec's "Consumer Protection Act". For any vehicle purchase, please visit one of our dealerships. 

The ability to cancel depends on how you pay for the vehicle:

Purchase financed from the merchant: Once the financing contract is signed, you have 2 days to cancel it, provided you have not taken possession of the car. This period begins from the moment the merchant and you are in possession of a duplicate of the contract.

Auto paid in cash or with a personal loan: once the purchase contract is signed, it is too late, you need to refer to our return policy.

4.    Cancellation Process

To cancel an online order, please follow the steps below:

  • Contact Customer Service : Email our customer service or call us as soon as possible to request cancellation of your order.
  • Provide Necessary Information : Please provide the order number and any additional information required to identify your order.
  • Cancellation Confirmation : Our customer service team will contact you to confirm the cancellation of your order as soon as possible. Please note that once an order has been shipped or processed, cancellation may no longer be possible.

 5.    Cancellation fees

Cancellation fees will apply, if it is a road vehicle or a machine, either: the greater of these two amounts: $500 or 2% of the price of the product.

 6.    Refund

If the order is successfully canceled, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase. Please allow processing time for the refund to be reflected in your account. If the order required the payment of a security deposit: The deposit will not be refunded if you decide to cancel your purchase voluntarily. 

7.    Exceptions

Custom or special orders are not eligible for cancellation once they have been processed or put into production.

Return policy

1.    Introduction

We are committed to offering quality vehicles or machinery, accessories and parts to ensure the satisfaction of our customers. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. This return policy applies to customers residing in Canada, including Quebec.

2.    General Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the product must meet the following conditions:

  • The product must be returned within 10 days of the date of purchase.
  • The product must be in new condition, without damage or signs or marks of wear,
  • For vehicles or machinery: only very low mileage (less than 1 km) or operating hours (less than 2 hours) could be eligible.
  • The product must be accompanied by all original documents, including proof of purchase and warranty certificates.

3.    Exceptions

Certain products cannot be returned:

  • Personalized or custom-made products.
  • Products that have undergone modifications after purchase.
  • Products that have been misused or have suffered accidental damage.
  • Items sold with the words “final sale”
  • Gift cards
  • Consumable and opened products such as petroleum or flammable products

 4.    Return Process

To return a vehicle or machinery, please follow the steps below:

  • Contact Us : Email our customer service to initiate the returns process. Attach supporting documents in your email (photos, videos, your invoice for example)
  • Inspection : One of our representatives will arrange for an inspection of the product to assess its condition and confirm its eligibility for return. You may have to provide more supporting documents.
  • Product return : If the product is approved for return: the part or product must be returned to us within 15 days of approval to the location we will indicate to you.
  • Return costs : Return transport costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the event of a defective product or error on our part. In the event of a defective product or an error on our part, we will cover the transport costs.
  • Restocking Fee : A shelf restocking fee of 15% of the product value will be applied to cover restocking costs, except in the event of a defective product or error on our part.

5.    Refunds

Once the return has been received and inspected, and complies with the supporting documentation you sent us. We will notify you if your refund is approved or rejected.

  • Approval : If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit automatically applied to your credit card or original payment method, within 15 days. Restocking costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Rejection : If your return is rejected after in-person inspection, we will return the product to you with a detailed explanation at our expense.

6.    Trades

We only replace items if they are faulty or damaged upon receipt. If you need to exchange a product for the same item, please contact us.

7.    Guarantee

Our products can benefit from a guarantee. For more details on warranty terms, please see our [warranty policy] or contact our customer service.

8.    Right of Withdrawal (for vehicles in Quebec)

Warranty Policy

1.    Introduction

We are committed to offering high quality products and ensuring their proper functioning. This warranty policy applies to customers residing in Canada, including Quebec, and details the terms and processes relating to the warranty of our products.

2.    Warranty Duration

The duration of the warranty varies depending on the type of product:

  • Vehicles : 12 months or 1000 hours from the date of purchase unless otherwise indicated on your sales contract.
  • Machinery : 12 months or 1000 hours from the date of purchase unless otherwise indicated on your sales contract.
  • Other products like parts : 30 days from the date of purchase unless otherwise indicated on your sales contract.

3.    Conventional Warranty Coverage

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal conditions of use of the product; labor to perform diagnosis and repair is not included. we reserve right to provide a new or used replacement parts, as long as its been evaluate as under warranty and we obtain the return merchandise authorization from the manufacturer.  Provides coverage for your new product for the number of months or operating hours, whichever is first, specified in the Warranty Duration section. 

Standard Warranty includes the following coverage example:  

Basic

Examples of Non-powertrain related components. Including but not limited to heating/air conditioning systems, interior cabin trim, hydraulics for implements, rotary joint (excavator), electrical devices and circuits, frame and ROPS. Except maintenance and wearable items. 

Powertrain Engine:

Cylinder Head, Front Gear Case, Crankcase, Oil Pan, and all parts enclosed inside these units including seals and gasket failures.

Powertrain Driveline : 

Hydraulic pumps, Hydrostatic travel motors, planetary reduction drives and all parts enclosed in these units. Except maintenance items.

4.    Exclusions from the Guarantee

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear of parts/replacement of regular maintenance items, for example: tires, brakes, batteries, steel, teeth, hoses, cables, light bulbs, pre-heater elements, filter elements, injector nozzle assembly, clutch disc/pressure plate/release bearings, brakes/parking brakes lining, oil and lubricants, coolants, belts, drive chains, rubber, resin, broken glass, cutting blades, bucket cutting edge and teeth, senders, sensors and valves connected to the pumps and travel motors, idlers, rollers, drive sprockets, tracks, oil seals and gaskets, brakes and parking brake lining. etc.
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions in the owner's manual and maintenance manual.
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, neglect or unauthorized modifications.
  • Accidental damage, including collisions, fires, floods and natural disasters.
  • Products whose serial number has been modified or removed.
  • Rust and paint issues are not covered
  • Briggs and Stratton Engines: warranty is administered by authorized Briggs and Stratton dealers.
  • RATO Engines: warranty is administered by authorized RATO dealers.
  • Kubota Engines: warranty is administered by authorized Kubota dealers.
  • Yanmar Engines: warranty is administered by authorized Yanmar Dealers.

5.    Extended Warranty Coverage

The extended warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The items covered as those listed under Powertrain (Engine and driveline) in the Conventional warranty section. The exclusion describe in section 4 always apply. We reserve right to provide a new or used replacement parts, as long as its been evaluate as under warranty and we obtain the return merchandise authorization from the manufacturer. With all reservations, the warranty for purchases made on our online store or in-person at RIPPA Canada does include the labor necessary for repairs at our designated location, but transport of the equipment is not include.

6.    Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, please follow the steps below:

  • Contact us : Email our customer service or call us to initiate the claim.
  • Provide necessary information : Have proof of purchase, product serial number, and a detailed description of the problem available.
  • Evaluation : One of our representatives will evaluate your request to confirm if the problem is covered by warranty. If we determine that your request is legitimate, we will contact the manufacturer to obtain a return authorization.
  • Repair or Replacement : If the problem is covered by warranty, we will replace the defective product under the terms of the warranty, if the part or product is returned to us within 15 days of acceptance. However, we reserve the right to repair the product or part, or replace it with an equivalent product or part, new or used.

7.    Associated Fees

The product in question must be returned to us. Transportation costs to send to the service center are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of defective product upon delivery. Transportation costs to return the repaired or replaced product to the customer are our responsibility.

8.    Out of Warranty Products

If your product is no longer covered by warranty, we can still offer repair services for a fee through our dealer network. Please contact us for assistance.

9.    Warranty transferability

Warranties are not transferable except for vehicles as determined by the laws governing the transaction. Subject to reservations: you must inform us of the change of ownership of the vehicle, send us the sales contract indicating the serial number of the vehicle, and the new owner must create a profile on our portal.
